Wildlife Conservation
The reserve is struggling. Poachers strip it of animals under cover of night. Farmers from the neighboring village push into protected land, not out of malice but desperation. Politicians argue about what the land is worth. And the ecosystem quietly unravels while everyone waits for someone else to act. That someone is you.
Wild Life Conservation is a narrative choice game built in Ren'Py that places you in the role of a field ecologist.. You'll navigate the real tensions that conservation work produces — between protecting wildlife and protecting the people who live alongside it, between enforcement and relationship, between short-term decisions and long-term consequences.
The game tracks four interconnected systems: Ecosystem Balance, Community Trust, Political Support, and Wildlife Health. None of them exists in isolation. A decision that stabilizes the ecosystem might fracture your relationship with the village. A compromise that builds trust might cost you politically.
You'll meet characters — a patrol officer, a village elder named Nana, rangers and farmers — each carrying their own logic, their own need, their own version of what the land is for. There is no villain. There is only pressure, and the choices you make under it.
